At Bravenholt Lahne, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This Return & Refund Policy explains your rights, our voluntary change-of-mind return policy, and the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Depending on the circumstances, if a product does not meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or compensation.
Consumer guarantees apply regardless of any separate warranty or voluntary return period offered by Bravenholt Lahne.
These rights may continue beyond any voluntary return period stated in this policy.
2. Change-of-Mind Returns
In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Bravenholt Lahne offers a 30-day change-of-mind return period.
You may request a return within 30 calendar days from the date your order is delivered.
To qualify for a change-of-mind return, the item must:
-
be unworn and unused;
-
be clean and in its original condition;
-
have all original labels and tags attached;
-
be returned with any original accessories supplied with the product;
-
show no signs of wear, washing, alteration, damage, perfume, deodorant, make-up or other use; and
-
include reasonable proof of purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse a voluntary change-of-mind return where the product does not meet these conditions.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by these requirements where the product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
3. Items Not Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns
For hygiene, safety and product integrity reasons, we may not accept change-of-mind returns for:
-
underwear or other intimate garments;
-
swimwear where a hygiene seal has been removed;
-
personalised or made-to-order products;
-
products that have been altered at the customer's request;
-
gift cards; and
-
products clearly marked as non-returnable before purchase, where permitted by law.
These exclusions apply only to voluntary change-of-mind returns.
They do not remove your rights under the Australian Consumer Law if an item is faulty, unsafe, incorrectly described or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
4. Sale and Promotional Items
Sale, discounted and promotional products are covered by the same consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law as products sold at full price.
We will not refuse an Australian Consumer Law remedy solely because an item was purchased on sale.
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, sale or promotional products may be returned where they satisfy the conditions of this policy unless they were clearly identified as non-returnable before purchase.
5. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products
Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible if your order:
-
arrives damaged;
-
contains a manufacturing defect;
-
is unsafe;
-
is materially different from the description, photographs or sample;
-
is the wrong item;
-
is missing an item;
-
is not of acceptable quality;
-
is not fit for its normal purpose; or
-
is not fit for a specific purpose that you made known to us before purchasing and on which you reasonably relied.
Contact us at:
Please provide, where reasonably available:
-
your full name;
-
your order number;
-
the email address used for the purchase;
-
a description of the problem; and
-
photographs or video showing the issue where this can reasonably assist us in assessing the claim.
We may request reasonable proof of purchase.
A receipt is not necessarily the only acceptable proof of purchase.
6. Major Problems
A product may have a major problem where, for example:
-
it is unsafe;
-
it is substantially different from its description or sample;
-
a reasonable consumer would not have purchased it had they known about the problem;
-
it cannot be used for its normal purpose and cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time; or
-
it cannot be used for a purpose that you told us about before purchase and cannot easily be fixed within a reasonable time.
Where a product has a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may reject the product and choose between:
-
a refund; or
-
a replacement of the same type and similar value, where reasonably available.
You may also have rights to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss or damage resulting from the failure.
We will not replace your statutory right to a refund with store credit where the Australian Consumer Law gives you the right to choose a refund.
7. Minor Problems
Where a failure is not major and can be remedied, we may choose an appropriate remedy, such as:
-
repairing the product;
-
replacing the product; or
-
providing another remedy permitted by the Australian Consumer Law.
The remedy must be provided within a reasonable time.
If a minor problem cannot be fixed, or is not fixed within a reasonable time, you may become entitled to further remedies under the Australian Consumer Law, including a refund or replacement where applicable.
8. Returning Faulty Products
If a product is capable of being posted or returned reasonably easily, we may ask you to return it for assessment.
If the product is confirmed to have a problem covered by the Australian Consumer Law, Bravenholt Lahne will reimburse reasonable return postage or transportation costs incurred by you.
Please keep any postage or shipping receipts.
Where an item cannot reasonably be returned because of its size, weight, nature of the defect or other relevant circumstances, we will comply with any obligation we have under Australian Consumer Law regarding collection or return arrangements.
9. Change-of-Mind Return Shipping
For approved change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless we agree otherwise.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service.
Bravenholt Lahne is not responsible for a change-of-mind return parcel that is lost during return shipping before it reaches the designated return location.
This section does not apply where Australian Consumer Law requires us to bear or reimburse reasonable return costs.
10. Return Authorisation
Before returning an item, please contact:
Please do not send a return to an address obtained from a parcel label, payment statement or any other source without first receiving return instructions from us.
Once your return request has been reviewed, we will provide the appropriate return instructions and, where applicable, the return address.
Unauthorised returns may experience processing delays.
11. Proof of Purchase
We may request reasonable proof that the product was purchased from Bravenholt Lahne.
Proof of purchase may include:
-
an order confirmation;
-
an invoice;
-
a receipt;
-
a payment record;
-
a bank or card statement; or
-
another document that reasonably demonstrates the purchase.
12. Refunds
Once an eligible return has been received and assessed, we will notify you of the outcome.
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase unless another method is required or agreed.
For change-of-mind returns, original shipping charges are generally not refundable unless otherwise stated by us.
Where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law, we will provide the refund required by law.
After we issue a refund, your bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account.
13. Exchanges
Where available, customers may request an exchange for another size, colour or eligible product.
Change-of-mind exchanges remain subject to the eligibility requirements in this policy.
Product availability is not guaranteed.
If an exchange cannot be supplied and you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law, your statutory rights will apply.
14. Wrong Size or Fit
Choosing an incorrect size is normally considered a change of mind where:
-
the product supplied matches the size ordered;
-
the product matches its description; and
-
there is no defect or misleading information regarding sizing.
Eligible items may still be returned under our 30-day change-of-mind policy.
If the product supplied is incorrectly labelled, materially inconsistent with our advertised sizing information or otherwise fails to comply with a consumer guarantee, your Australian Consumer Law rights remain unaffected.
15. Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at:
If your order has not yet been processed or dispatched, we may be able to cancel it and issue a refund.
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible and the applicable return process will apply.
Nothing in this section limits any cancellation or refund rights available under Australian law.
16. Refused or Unclaimed Deliveries
Where a parcel is refused, not collected or returned to sender for reasons unrelated to a fault by Bravenholt Lahne or the carrier, we may treat the return as a change-of-mind return.
Any deductions or charges will only be applied where lawful and reasonable.
This does not affect your rights where the delivery problem was caused by us, our carrier or another matter for which we are legally responsible.
17. Products Damaged After Delivery
Consumer guarantees may not provide a remedy where a problem was caused by:
-
misuse;
-
accidental damage after delivery;
-
improper care;
-
abnormal use;
-
failure to follow reasonable care instructions; or
-
alterations or repairs performed by the customer or an unauthorised third party that caused the problem.
However, we will not refuse a legitimate claim merely because a product has been used where the defect or failure is otherwise covered by the Australian Consumer Law.
18. Original Packaging
You are not required to keep or return the original packaging in order to exercise rights that apply to faulty products under the Australian Consumer Law.
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, we may reasonably require original packaging where it forms part of the product presentation and is necessary to return the item in resaleable condition.
19. Manufacturer Warranties
Any manufacturer or voluntary warranty provided with a product is additional to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
A warranty does not replace, limit or remove Australian Consumer Law consumer guarantees.
Where you have a valid claim against Bravenholt Lahne as the supplier, we will not require you to deal solely with the manufacturer where Australian Consumer Law makes us responsible for providing the remedy.
20. Refunds Are Not Limited to Store Credit
Where Australian Consumer Law entitles you to a monetary refund, we will not require you to accept:
-
store credit;
-
a voucher;
-
a gift card; or
-
another product
instead of the refund to which you are legally entitled.
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, any store-credit arrangement will be governed by the terms disclosed as part of that voluntary policy.
21. Consumer Guarantees Cannot Be Excluded
Any term of this policy that is inconsistent with a right or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law will be interpreted subject to that law.
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any statutory consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.

23. Governing Consumer Rights
This Return & Refund Policy operates subject to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), including Schedule 2 — Australian Consumer Law, and any other applicable Australian consumer protection requirements.
Where Australian law provides consumers with rights that are more favourable than a term contained in this voluntary policy, those statutory rights will apply.
